Once again she finds herself in the WWII simulation where she kills some time by killing a bunch of German soldiers. But she agrees to finish the mission. Serac übernimmt Delos und sucht nach der Kopie von Dolores. He looks a bit in awe. Westworld Staffel 3 Recap Episode 6 Dekohärenz (OV: Decoherence): Zusammenfassung, Videos und Bildergalerie auf Sky.de. This review contains spoilers for Westworld Season 3, episode 6, titled "Decoherence." Incite’s guards shoot about as good as Star Wars Stormtroopers, but she takes a couple hits. She stuck William with a needle last week when she had him committed and it turns out it was a blood tracker. This is the same facility that Serac locked his brother up in that we saw in last week’s episode. She tells him that she’ll go after Dolores again, but she’ll need a team to help her. “You’re the only one we can’t replace.” Curiouser and curiouser. Are Incite agents already on the way to the parks to destroy everything? They died and lived again over and over and over. Some superb action redeems an episode otherwise marked by familiar Westworld digressions. Dabei ist sie auch bereit, über Host Leichen zu gehen. It seems Dolores has him around for some important reason, and not just to oppose her. The facility has, like much of the rest of the world, gone entirely to hell. You may opt-out by. Was this all part of Hale/Serac’s plan all along? Serac wants to destroy everything Delos created because he sees it as a direct threat to global peace (and Incite’s dominance). Never short on ambition, Charlotte Hale. Somehow part of his “pearl” survived last week’s blast, and now they have a fragment (or version) of Dolores in the simulation, naked like the good ol’ days back in the park. Know what this is about? "Westworld"-Staffel 3: Recap Episode 6. William had a dark streak very early on, and one that his older self has denied ever since. Once there, he reveals that they know who the mole is: Charlotte herself. Serac wants them all exterminated. I suppose it felt less “magic” in a way, more grounded. Charlotte/Dolores breaking off from her leader-self to save her family. As far as Westworld specifically, I still feel like everything after Season 1 seems a bit tacked-on and superfluous. He shows Bernard a facility run by Serac where he keeps the undesirables—those unfortunate souls who pose a risk to the predetermined outcome of Incite’s Rehoboam machine. All Rights Reserved, This is a BETA experience. It’s interesting, especially since Young William seemed so nice and good when he first came to Westworld. But still better than most TV shows out there. It’s Hector (Rodrigo Santoro) though he doesn’t yet realize that they’re in a simulation. Chaos reigns. What a tease. I found myself enjoying it much more than last week’s, and I’m not entirely sure why. Dolores convincingly argues that neither of them are villains, though they’ve both killed and demanded sacrifice from others in order to fulfill their respective missions—Dolores to build a new world, Maeve to find and be reunited with her daughter. Maeve brings her back online and they talk. Westworld (2016– ) Episode List. Delos let Guests kill Hosts at will, but they revived them after. That’s the one mystery that keeps evading us all season long. The Man in Black and Tuxedo William both agree that his debauchery and violence in the park didn’t really matter because in the real world he was an upstanding citizen who helped people. She races back home to her ex-husband and son and they rush to the car. There’s no way a machine could predict the outcome of every single persons’ life and then construct a plan for everyone that helped prevent war and famine and plague. Delos asks him if he really had a choice in all of this or if it was just fate. Turns out, in the game of thinking one step ahead, Serac wins this round. I complained last week that the entire Rehoboam / Incite machine was too outlandishly magical. With Dolores releasing the personal data and predictive outcomes of the entire globe to the public, the proverbial shit is hitting the proverbial fan. Then they head off to speak with another of the Hosts that Serac has acquired for her: The Connells version of Dolores. Then fake Lee Sizemore (Simon Quarterman) shows up and they head off to a cozy looking bar where Sizemore frequents, though he’s programmed all the Hosts there to not see him. I don’t think Serac counted on that. Later, a drugged William is being taken to his AR session when he sees his therapist through her window hang herself. Dolores leitet die nächste Phase in ihrem Plan ein. Charlotte has told Dolores how afraid she is, how she’s worried not only for herself but for her family. It seems very possible that Cal was placed in Serac’s facility at some point for reasons we don’t yet understand. She finally determined what it was to have free will. By the time Bernard and Stubbs show up, the facility appears to be empty. She stares at the devastation. The third season stars an ensemble cast led by Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, newcomer Aaron Paul, and Ed Harris. They kiss passionately. Maeve und Charlotte erleiden beide einen herben Verlust. Last week, Cal (Aaron Paul) had flashbacks of being strapped to a similar chair, and we know he’s had some form of AR therapy as well. I’m also reminded of Connells’ final words to Bernard telling him to run. She has a little help from the Riot Control Bot we saw a couple episodes back—a giant red mech that lays waste to everything around it. She’s discovered also that she’s lost her medical license. The first time this happens we see him as a child, scared and cowering as he listens to his angry father shouting at his mother, looking for him. Maeve’s story is particularly tragic in ‘Decoherence.’ She’s been brought back to virtual life by Serac who tells her that if she fails again there will be trouble for her. Another was Maeve. As a side-note here, I’m really not sure why Serac has set all this up at Delos when he clearly had the ability to do this at his own facility. Serac übernimmt Delos, Charlotte in Gefahr & William holt die Vergangenheit ein - alle Infos, Videos & Bilder. Last week, Connells/Dolores (Tommy Flanagan) shows Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) a data-pad just moments before he blows himself and a number of Incite security people to smithereens. Security forces show up and Charlotte flees. He suspects he plays some part in Dolores’s plans but he has no idea what that could be. I suspect we’ll discover who Maeve’s helpers are next week, which is a nice change. Serac is, from a Host’s perspective, even worse than Delos. We don’t know why, but she learns all this while William finally opens up about killing his daughter. As far as Westworld specifically, I still feel like everything after Season 1 seems a bit tacked-on and superfluous. Then the car explodes. Her time living as fake Hale has changed her entirely. This week, William finds himself at that facility, though we don’t know right away that this is where he is. Only Hale and Serac are unfazed. So that leaves just two more Hosts. Who will they be? It helps explain how he went from White Hat William to the Man In Black. It seems beyond inconceivable to me that the machine and Serac (Vincent Cassel) could so perfectly plot everything out that he’s able to essentially quarantine (or kill off) all the potential outliers but still miss Dolores entirely. However, I did like this episode more than last week’s. Don’t worry, she reassures them. The television series was created by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, and it is based on the 1973 film of the same name, written and directed by Michael Crichton. Was William abused as a child? I’m enjoying the action, the shoot-outs, the fantastic special effects, the tremendous acting (as usual). we wonder. Die US-Serie Westworld ist eine Serienadaption des gleichnamigen Films von 1973, den Michael Crichton (Jurassic Park) inszeniert und geschrieben hatte. I write about video games, TV and movies. “Maeve,” he says. Charlotte backs up the data, though she has to kill an Incite agent who discovers her subterfuge, and then heads to her office where she grabs a gun and a strange canister and then calls her ex-husband to check on their son and give him instructions, telling him she’ll be home in half an hour and he’s not to go anywhere or open the door for anyone. William is discovering the opposite. William finds himself in a room with several versions of himself and his old boss, James Delos (Peter Mullan). At the moment, he just seems hapless, much like he was last season, moving from here to there encased in a fog of doubt. Charlotte plucks Hector’s pearl from the printing machine as Maeve looks on in horror (she can apparently mind-hack IRL tech from within the simulation). In any case, we deal a little less with the magicky stuff in “Decoherence” and more with the personal. The third season of the American science fiction dystopian television series Westworld premiered on HBO on March 15, 2020, and concluded on May 3, 2020, consisting of eight episodes. The guards don’t notice. What did you think? It was her humanity that gave her away, ironically. It’s an interesting parallel to the evolution of Dolores and her quest to find the center of the maze. It makes me appreciate this season just a little bit more to have these unexpected emotional payoffs. Delos is the session’s therapist. An unnecessary and confusing foray into the backstory of its least interesting character threatens to derail Westworld right as the season has hit its stride, until another guns-blazing action set-piece makes the whole thing worthwhile. In the end, William kills all his former selves. I’m still a little unsure what to think of Bernard’s role in all of this. Her fake ex-husband and fake son dead, Charlotte drags herself from the burning wreckage. William facing his demons. She’s the one who approached him and began the takeover process, presumably out of a thirst for power. Maeve confronting Dolores and discovering that neither of them has any choice but to wage war against the other. But she did. As far as TV goes, it’s great. In any case, Hale has been playing a double/triple agent game it appears. To refresh your memory of where we left off, check out our review of Westworld Season 3, episode 5. “The real Charlotte Hale never would have called to check on her son,” Serac tells her. At last we have the story of Charlotte/Dolores. Hosts don’t count, after all. We encourage you to read our updated PRIVACY POLICY and COOKIE POLICY. William is forced to rewatch that moment from his childhood, where we learn that his father is only upset because William broke a boy’s arm at school—a drastic overreaction to some taunting. There were five pearls, one of which is the now-dead Hector and one which was Connells/Dolores. Westworld recap: season 3, episode 6 – Hale can't have it all Maeve schemes and William undergoes some much-needed therapy as we build towards a thrilling finale. Stubbs is here almost solely to get beat up by various versions of Dolores, but what’s Bernard’s part in all of this? What does it matter if you can’t tell the difference? She doesn’t hear a word, just runs out of the room. Serac never shows up to these things in person. I suppose this not only includes all the data at Delos HQ, but the parks themselves. Maeve is spared, and soon her body is printed once again and she stands next to another vat of white liquid, waiting for another ally to emerge. By the end of the episode, it seems like this was an early visual cue about Chalores' fate. When she was a human she not only ran Delos she was secretly working for Serac. We won’t know who it is until next week, however. So William is prescribed AR therapy treatment and is bound to a chair with AR goggles on and given sedatives. The first of her helpers shows up. To do this, she and other board members are attempting to take the company private before the bid can go through, but Serac’s agents ambush her and an ally on the way to the board meeting, killing him and escorting her into the facility.
